Rigan Machado and Danny Weir

Hey guys we were able to head across to Canberra and visit our friend and BJJ Black belt coach Danny Weir a visit at Epic BJJ.

We covered some guard work material based on open guard, Dela Riva!.

Staring with an entry into the position from stand up then and working on some sweeps from a strong position and entering into deep half guard when opponent passes to one side of the DLR guard.

We then worked some positional sparring.

I was able to work with Danny and my fellow brown belt Scott Cunningham on some tips for the upcoming Gathering competition. Sharpening the attacks.
